Clean your Fan to Prevent Damage to the Motor

Posted by HydroMist on Sep 23rd 2024

One thing about outdoor fans is they tend to get dirtier than most indoor fans.  It is important to frequently clean your fan as excess dust, grease and moisture can cause  blade and fan guard to get caked with gunk.  Not only does it look bad to restaurant patrons but it puts stress on the motor and can cause it to hinder the performance or worse, burn out.  To clean simply vacuum the fan cage or in dirtier situations, spray down with a simple mild degreaser and hose down gently.  A soft. scrub brush may be needed to fully clean in tight areas.  HydroMist also includes a dust cover to protect the fan from weathering and unwanted pest that can also cause unwanted problems.
